Here’s what we’ve been working on
In 2014, the Medway Head Lighthouse Society gained possession of the lighthouse, and the huge volunteer task of undertaking the restoration of the rundown building: windows, siding, paint, … and, of course, fundraising to make repairs, to develop an on-line presence and and to develop interpretive information to share with visitors.
Funds have been raised through the very popular Art and Craft Show and Sale in August, sales of the annual calendar featuring the work of local artists, the sale of various signature products, and private donations.
